In a co-worker meeting, Jia Nan said as usual, “Brothers and sisters, now is the late period of the last days when the Lord comes. When the Lord Jesus said, ‘Therefore be you also ready: for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man comes’ (Matthew 24:44), He was telling us to prepare ourselves. What we need to do is read the Bible frequently, do more work for the Lord, pray often, and often confess and repent to the Lord. The most important thing is to watch and make preparations, like the wise virgins preparing enough oil. Only in this way can we welcome His return. Chen Zhong began to believe in the Lord when he was a child. When attending meetings, he often heard pastors say: “‘I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: From now on there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness…. (2 Timothy 4:7–8). Brothers and sisters! When we believe in the Lord, as long as we work hard and give up all to follow the Lord, then there will be a crown of righteousness in store for us. When the Lord comes, we’ll be raptured to the kingdom of heaven.” From then on, Chen Zhong made up his mind: I will follow the Lord all my life, I will labor for the Lord, preach the gospel, and testify the Lord in all places when I grow up.

Jean, a Christian, happened to come across the film Come Out of the Bible one day and was confused by the title. He couldn’t figure out why, in one’s belief in God, it would be necessary to come out of the Bible. After watching the film, however, he gained an entirely new understanding. Through Watching a Movie, I Unexpectedly Learned of the Lord’s Return

In September of 2018, while scrolling through YouTube, I happened to watch a film called Where Is My Home. I found the words recited in this film to be gentle and yet full of authority. After watching the film, I wanted to learn more about the church that had produced the film, The Church of Almighty God, so I did a web search to see what I could find. The web search, however, yielded several negative reviews of the church, but I was unable to ascertain the verity of these reviews. When I was 18 years old I believed in the Lord Jesus because of my illness, gradually I recovered as a result of the Lord’s grace. To repay His love, I determined to work for the Lord all my life. Then I joined a church choir and became a singing teacher. I often sang hymns and prayed in praise of the Lord with brothers and sisters. Besides that, I performed Christian drama and preached the Lord’s gospel in many places. When I followed the Lord, I had particular faith in what Paul said, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: From now on there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness” (2 Timothy 4:7-8). The Prophecies of the Lord’s Return Have All Been Fulfilled

The Lord Jesus said: “Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near: So likewise you, when you shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Truly I say to you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled” (Matthew 24:32–34). We Christians all know that these are some scriptures prophesying about the return of the Lord. Here, that the fig tree’s branch is tender and puts forth leaves refers to the return of Israel, which is to say, when it returns, we will know that the Lord will come back soon. Now, the Israel has been recovered for decades, so this prophecy has already been fulfilled.

If we accept Almighty God, are we guaranteed to enter the kingdom of heaven?

Answer: Almighty God has spoken very clearly about this problem. Let’s first take a look at what he has said.

“The return of Jesus is a great salvation for those who are capable of accepting the truth, but for those who are unable to accept the truth it is a sign of condemnation. You should choose your own path, and should not blaspheme against the Holy Spirit and reject the truth. You should not be an ignorant and arrogant person, but someone who obeys the guidance of the Holy Spirit and longs for and seeks the truth; only in this way will you benefit” (“By the Time You Behold the Spiritual Body of Jesus, God Will Have Made Heaven and Earth Anew” in The Word Appears in the Flesh). For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation” (Romans 10:9-10). I believe that most of us believers in God are not strangers to these verses. Many people think these verses mean that we shall be saved as long as we call on the name of the Lord and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ in our heart, and that salvation is once and for all.
