As in the Days of Noah: Warnings for People in the Last Days

By Becky, the Philippines

Editor’s Note:

Nowadays, the people of the world are as corrupt and wicked as the people were in the time of Noah, and they all shun God. The Lord Jesus once said, “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” (Matthew 24:37). When the world becomes like it was in the days of Noah, the Son of man will come. How then can we board the ark of the last days? This article explores this issue.

Her Daughter Faced Death Due to Illness and Recovered Miraculously by Relying on God

Her Daughter Faced Death Due to Illness and Recovered Miraculously by Relying on God
By Wenjie

“Mom, I want to do the operation this year.”

“Yeah, it’s time. We’ve put it off too many years. Then when you go home let’s do it.”

“Yeah, mom, so let’s settle everything and then go back home. Talk to you soon.”

A storm of thoughts raced through Wenjie’s mind as she hung up the phone. She thought back to 2010, when a checkup at the hospital confirmed that her daughter had pancreatic cyst. The doctor said the surgery she needed was of a different sort. If not done well, it could cause leakage of the pancreatic fluid that would corrode her other internal organs. Considering the risk, her daughter opted for a conservative traditional Chinese medicine treatment, but in the past three years, rather than disappearing, the cyst had doubled in size from 6 cm to 12 cm. With no more time to delay, the surgery had to be done now to prevent the unthinkable.

You say only those who obey the will of God receive the way of everlasting life. After we started believing in the Lord, we suffered and paid a price to spread the Lord’s gospel. We’ve shepherded the Lord’s flock, taken up the cross and followed the Lord, practiced humbleness, patience, and tolerance. Are you saying we haven’t been following God’s will? We know if we continue, we will become holy, and be raptured to the kingdom of heaven. Is this way of understanding and practice wrong?

Answer: You have the notion that if you labor, sacrifice, or do good deeds, you are obeying God’s will. But are these imagined notions of yours after God’s heart? Do they have a basis in God’s word? Let’s see what the Lord Jesus said: The Lord Jesus said: “Not every one that said to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess to them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity” (Mat 7: 21-23). Are You Someone Who Obtains Eternal Life?

bible study | lord Jesus

By Zhang Yan

Now is the end of the last days when the prophecies of the Lord Jesus’ return have all come true, and we expect to be taken into God’s kingdom and obtain eternal life more eagerly, because the Bible says, “He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God stays on him” (John 3:36). All these years we have been repenting our sins, preaching the gospel, and bearing fruits, just as the Lord Jesus asked. Thus, we all feel ourselves most approved by God, and that as long as we hold on to the Lord Jesus’ way, we will surely obtain eternal life.

Once Saved Always Saved? True or Not? – Bible Study

Once Saved Always Saved? True or Not? - Bible Study

By Jin Ling

“That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation” (Romans 10:9-10). I believe that most of us believers in God are not strangers to these verses. Many people think these verses mean that we shall be saved as long as we call on the name of the Lord and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ in our heart, and that salvation is once and for all. Thus, there’s no need to accept any other salvation. Now then, is our such viewpoint compatible with the fact of God’s work? Can we really always be saved once we are saved? A Debate About Whether Being Instantly Transformed and Raptured Into the Kingdom of God Is Possible or Not

A Debate About Whether Being Instantly Transformed and Raptured Into the Kingdom of God Is Possible or Not

After Wang Liwen’s marriage failed, the Lord’s salvation came upon her, and God became her reliance. Once, she saw these words in the Bible, “That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation” (Romans 10:9–10). “For our conversation is in heaven; from where also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like to his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things to himself” (Philippians 3:20–21). Is God’s Kingdom Not in Heaven?

Is God’s Kingdom Not in Heaven?

From when I believed in the Lord, I’d often heard Pastor Liu explain 1 Thessalonians 4:17, “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” He said, “Now From when I believed in the Lord, I’d often heard Pastor Liu explain 1 Thessalonians 4:17, “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” Continue reading “Is God’s Kingdom Not in Heaven?”

Why Do We Still Commit Sins?

Why Do We Still Commit Sins?

By Xiao Ye

Liu Xin and Yang Yu went to Chen Li’s house to attend a class reunion at the appointed time. On the way there, Liu Xin reflected on herself: “In this period, I always live in the condition of committing and confessing sins and can’t live out the requirements of the Lord. If this continues, can I enter the kingdom of heaven?” Recently, some of the brothers and sisters were absorbed in making money and Liu Xin had to remind them of the meetings. So she had a prejudice against and a critical view of them within. Then when she thought of what the Bible says, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord” (Heb 12:14), “Be you holy; for I am holy” (1Pe 1:16), she felt guilty in her heart. She thought to herself, “I have believed in God for many years, but I still live in the situation of sinning each day and confessing each night. Continue reading “Why Do We Still Commit Sins?”
