How do God’s three stages of work gradually deepen so that people may be saved and perfected?

Relevant Words of God:

The entire management of God is divided into three stages, and in each stage, fitting requirements are made of man. Furthermore, as the ages pass and progress, God’s requirements of all mankind become ever higher. Thus, step-by-step, this work of God’s management reaches its climax, until man beholds the fact of the “appearance of the Word in the flesh,” and in this way the requirements of man become even higher, as do the requirements of man to bear testimony. The more man is capable of truly cooperating with God, the more he glorifies God. Man’s cooperation is the testimony that he is required to bear, and the testimony that he bears is the practice of man. Therefore, whether or not God’s work can have the due effect, and whether or not there can be true testimony, are inextricably linked to the cooperation and testimony of man. The Importance of God Become Flesh

The Importance of God Become Flesh

Relevant Words of God:

This flesh is so important to mankind because He is man and, even more so, He is God, because He can do the work that no ordinary man of flesh can do, and because He can save corrupt man, who lives together with Him on earth. Though He is identical to man, the incarnate God is more important to mankind than any person of value, for He can do the work that cannot be done by the Spirit of God, is more able than the Spirit of God to bear testimony to God Himself, and is more able than the Spirit of God to fully gain mankind. Understanding God’s Will in the Midst of Difficulties

Understanding God’s Will in the Midst of Difficulties

When I was preaching the gospel I encountered sectarian leaders who bore false witness to resist and disrupt, and called the police. This led to those I was preaching to not daring to come into contact with us, and those who had just accepted the gospel being unable to be confident in God’s work. When I worked very hard but the results were poor, I thought: Evangelical work is so difficult to carry out. It would be so wonderful if God just showed some miracles and punished those who bear false witness as well as those who seriously resist God to show to those who have been deceived. How Should We Explain Revelation 22:18–19

By Chiheng

Editor’s Note:

A good friend of Christian Xu Min sends her a book—she feels spiritually freed after reading it, and it seems to her like a book of God’s utterance. However, her pastor says that according to a prophecy in Revelation 22:18–19, no one can add anything to or remove anything from the Bible, so God couldn’t possibly speak aside from through the Bible. Xu Min is really confused and wonders, what does the verse about not adding things in Revelation 22:18–19 really mean? Does “not adding things” apply to the entire Bible or just the Book of Revelation? After a fellowship, she understood the truth and mystery in it. Read this article to understand the truth within, lest we miss His return due to treating the Lord’s return according to our notions and imaginations.

How Should We Explain Revelation 22:18–19

The sharp “beep … beep” of a car’s horn sounded in the narrow alley, yanking Xu Min away from her thoughts. Turning to look back, she saw she hadn’t realized she was blocking the car behind her while she was lost in contemplation over something the pastor had said that morning. The Lord Jesus Christ Is God Himself

The Lord Jesus Christ Is God Himself

By Zhang Li

One morning, when my daughter and I were studying the Bible together, we saw these verses: “Philip said to him, Lord, show us the Father, and it suffices us. Jesus said to him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet have you not known me, Philip? he that has seen me has seen the Father; and how say you then, Show us the Father? Believe you not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak to you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwells in me, he does the works” (John 14:8-10). What Does Christ Mean? Is It Right For Paul to Call Himself Christ?

What Does Christ Mean? Is It Right For Paul to Call Himself Christ?

By Xiaoming

Confusions Filled My Heart

The sky was grey and the rain was falling steadily. I was poring over the scriptures at my desk. The minutes ticked by, but my confusions weren’t resolved. In the Scripture Paul said, “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21). This quite bewildered me: Paul was a man, and an apostle sent by the Lord to preach the gospel. Then, how could he call himself Christ? The Lord Jesus humbly and secretly came to earth, and as the redeeming Lamb, He took on the sins of man and saved man from the cross. Thus, the Lord Jesus is the supreme Savior and the only Lord in our hearts. Continue reading “What Does Christ Mean? Is It Right For Paul to Call Himself Christ?”

Who Can Give Me the Way of Eternal Life? The Bible or God?

Who Can Give Me the Way of Eternal Life? The Bible or God?

My cousin and two sisters spread the gospel of the kingdom of Almighty God to my wife and me. My wife accepted it. However, as a denominational leader reading the Bible much more than them, I didn’t think anything of them at all, nor did I want to hear their fellowship and testimony. Later, whenever they came to have a meeting with my wife, they would invite me to join them, but I made excuses to refuse. Once, I really couldn’t wriggle out of it, and thereby attended the meeting. However, when they said, “Only by keeping pace with God’s work of the last days, can we obtain everlasting life,” I couldn’t accept it. I thought: The Bible is the way of eternal life bestowed by God. As long as I hold on to the Bible, I then will obtain eternal life. From then on, I listened to their fellowship no more.

All of God’s Word Is in the Bible. Is It True?

By Xi En, United States

All of God's Word Is in the Bible. Is It True?

The Bible is Christianity’s canon, the foundation for our faith. Since we’ve believed in the Lord, each of us has had a Bible. We read the Bible frequently and cherish it as a treasure. In addition, we follow the words of the Bible as if they are the most important standard in our life and work. Especially when some brothers and sisters read what Paul said: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16). This even more makes them think that all scripture is inspired by God. However, in the Bible, there are also the words of man. If we say that the words of man are the words of God, then are we not blaspheming God? So, is the Bible really given by inspiration of God? Are all the words in the Bible God’s words? With regards to these questions, let’s discuss them together.

How We Can Get Rid of the Bondage of Sin and Achieve Cleanness?

How We Can Get Rid of the Bondage of Sin and Achieve Cleanness?

Dear Lingyun:

Hello! In your letter you asked: “The Lord Jesus has completed the work of redemption, and as long as we pray to the Lord to confess our sins, our sins will be forgiven. But why do I still sin and fail to break away from the bondage of sin?”

I want to share a bit of my understanding of this issue. We all know that, at the end of the Age of Law, man had been corrupted by Satan deeper and deeper and they no longer upheld the law. They lived in the midst of sin every day, facing the danger of being lawfully executed because their offerings were not adequate to atone for their sins.
