Why Do We Still Commit Sins?

Why Do We Still Commit Sins?

By Xiao Ye

Liu Xin and Yang Yu went to Chen Li’s house to attend a class reunion at the appointed time. On the way there, Liu Xin reflected on herself: “In this period, I always live in the condition of committing and confessing sins and can’t live out the requirements of the Lord. If this continues, can I enter the kingdom of heaven?” Recently, some of the brothers and sisters were absorbed in making money and Liu Xin had to remind them of the meetings. So she had a prejudice against and a critical view of them within. Then when she thought of what the Bible says, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord” (Heb 12:14), “Be you holy; for I am holy” (1Pe 1:16), she felt guilty in her heart. She thought to herself, “I have believed in God for many years, but I still live in the situation of sinning each day and confessing each night. Continue reading “Why Do We Still Commit Sins?”

Do You Grasp How to Distinguish the True Christ From the False Ones?

Do You Grasp How to Distinguish the True Christ From the False Ones?

In gatherings, the pastors often read this piece of scripture, “Then if any man shall say to you, See, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect” (Matthew 24:23-24). Besides, they exhorted us, “The last days have come. By reason of having no discernment, many people have been deceived by false Christs. You don’t understand the Bible and are immature in stature. So don’t go to outsiders for messages lightly, lest you be deceived by false Christs and miss the Lord’s salvation.” In my mind, I thought that the pastors knew a lot and all they said was right. Moreover, it was the Lord Jesus’ warning for us. From then on, I always held the view that any preaching that said the Lord has come was false and unreliable.

The Most Crucial Point to Welcome Second Coming of Jesus

The Most Crucial Point to Welcome Second Coming of Jesus

There is an article titled “Checking the Clams.” It is a story about a boy who likes clams very much. One day, his mother brought home a big bag of clams. In order to have delicious clams, he decided to check the clams before cooking to see if they were good or not and to sort out the bad ones. So, he took out a clam, thinking it was fresh and alive, and used it as the standard to measure whether or not the other clams were bad. Then he lightly tapped on their shells, and compared them with the standard one. Continue reading “The Most Crucial Point to Welcome Second Coming of Jesus”

When Jesus Is Coming, How Can We Welcome Him?

Hello Sister Li Zhen:

Now disasters are getting ever bigger. The day of the Lord has already come. We believers in the Lord are all anxiously waiting for Him to be raptured into the heavenly kingdom. The Lord Jesus said, “Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened to ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. … and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut” (Matthew 25:1, 10). From these verses, we see that when the Lord comes, the foolish virgins will be locked outside on account of not preparing oil, while the wise virgins who have prepared oil will dine with Him. Only by being wise virgins can we welcome the Lord’s return. Then, in the last days, how should we prepare to be the wise virgins to welcome the Lord?

Can Our Church Be Raptured?

Can Our Church Be Raptured?

In the morning, my son drove off and I went for a walk in the park. Before I walked for a while, I heard someone yelling behind me: “Old Wang.” “Yes.” I replied whilst looking back. They are Brother Sun and his wife, Sister Li. I said: “Hi, it’s a nice day for a walk.” They replied in unison: “Yes.” Sister Li said: “Old Wang, a moment ago I saw your son drive off. Where did he go?” I replied: “Ah, he and his wife will go traveling with their friends. I exhorted them not to travel because tomorrow is the Sunday worship. Now, the Lord’s coming is near, how can we not go to the church and observe the Lord’s Day? Our pastors have stressed repeatedly that when the Lord returns, He must come to the church and receive us. God’s name in each age cannot represent God’s all, so what is the significance of His name in each age?

Answer: This question is very critical. Today Almighty God has already told us the answer. He says, “‘Jehovah’ is the name that I took during My work in Israel, and it means the God of the Israelites (God’s chosen people) who can take pity on man, curse man, and guide the life of man; the God who possesses great power and is full of wisdom. ‘Jesus’ is Emmanuel, which means the sin offering that is full of love, full of compassion, and which redeems man. He did the work of the Age of Grace, and He represents the Age of Grace, and can only represent one part of the work of the management plan. That is to say, only Jehovah is the God of the chosen people of Israel, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob, the God of Moses, and the God of all the people of Israel. And so, in the current age, all the Israelites, apart from the Jewish people, worship Jehovah. They make sacrifices to Him on the altar and serve Him in the temple wearing priests’ robes. What they hope for is the reappearance of Jehovah. Only Jesus is the Redeemer of mankind, and He is the sin offering that redeemed mankind from sin. Which is to say, the name of Jesus came from the Age of Grace and came into existence because of the work of redemption in the Age of Grace. The name of Jesus came into existence to allow the people of the Age of Grace to be reborn and saved, and is a particular name for the redemption of the whole of mankind. What’s the Relationship Among Jehovah, Jesus and the Almighty?

What’s the Relationship Among Jehovah, Jesus and the Almighty?

By Huiyong

Since I believed in the Lord, I have prayed to God in the name of “Jesus” in everything. One day, I found that the Israelites all called upon God’s name “Jehovah” in the Old Testament. The believers began to pray in the name of “Jesus” in the Age of Grace of the New Testament. Moreover, Revelation prophesied that people will call God by the name “the Almighty” at the time of the holy city coming down. Until then did I know that God can be called by another name the Almighty besides the names of Jehovah and Jesus. Continue reading “What’s the Relationship Among Jehovah, Jesus and the Almighty?”

How to Distinguish Between the True Christ and False Christs

How to Distinguish Between the True Christ and False Christs
Hello, brothers and sisters:

My name is Li Li. I’m a leader in charge of a house church. We hear someone preach that the Lord Jesus has already returned, yet we see that in the Bible the Lord Jesus said: “Then if any man shall say to you, See, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect” (Mat 24:23–24). From these words, we can understand that when the Lord returns, all kinds of false Christs and false prophets will arise to deceive believers. Those Who Recognize God’s Voice Are Wise Virgins

Those Who Recognize God’s Voice Are Wise Virgins

Matthew 25:1–10 states:

“1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened to ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

Salvation Can Only Come Through Belief in Almighty God

Salvation Can Only Come Through Belief in Almighty God

Relevant Words of God:

When Jesus came into the world of man, He ushered in the Age of Grace and ended the Age of Law. During the last days, God once more became flesh, and with this incarnation He ended the Age of Grace and ushered in the Age of Kingdom. All those who are able to accept the second incarnation of God will be led into the Age of Kingdom, and will moreover become able to personally accept the guidance of God. Though Jesus did much work among man, He only completed the redemption of all mankind and became man’s sin offering; He did not rid man of all his corrupt disposition. Fully saving man from the influence of Satan not only required Jesus to become the sin offering and bear the sins of man, but it also required God to do even greater work to rid man completely of his satanically corrupted disposition.
