The sky was dull and the clouds were hanging low, the thunder blaring dimly out from a distance. A storm was striking soon. These days, people were all baked like the cracked land due to the dryness and fervor. At the moment, the cool wind accompanied the drizzle took away the dryness of these days, bringing coolness to people. It was the time for the rain to come. Heyu hurried to fetch the washing in, and then she gazed at the sky while waiting for the arrival of Tao Yun and Zhang Ruirui. Recently they were all busy sustaining the church they each led and hadn’t met for days. So Heyu invited them to her house to have a chat and have an understanding of the situations of the brothers and sisters.

My name is Li Qiang. I’m 36 years old. In August of 2004, I believed in the Lord Jesus. When I knew that the Lord suffered a lot for saving mankind and that He was crucified to bear the sins of us, I was deeply moved by the Lord’s love and resolved to follow Him all my life. Receiving God’s salvation in the last days, I was joyful and happy.

In early 2017, an old lady I had met previously enthusiastically bore witness to God’s work of the last days for me and told me that the Lord Jesus has already returned. She said that He is performing a new stage of His work to save mankind, and that many prophecies that exist in the Bible were being fulfilled. Hearing this, I got very excited. The words of God read by the old lady were very useful for me, and I hadn’t heard anything like them before. I thought: “In the past, my mother and sister often urged me to believe in God, but I didn’t accept it because I was too busy making money. Now this old lady is communicating God’s intention to save mankind so clearly. This is the last stage in God’s work of salvation. I can’t miss this opportunity. This is the grace of God!” Thereupon, I willingly accepted it.

Learning How to Discern the True Christ and False Ones, I Have Welcomed the Lord’s Return

In June 2011, I became a believer of the Lord Jesus. During meetings, Elder Zhang, standing at the pulpit, often said with emphasis, “Brothers and sisters, the Lord Jesus said, ‘Then if any man shall say to you, See, here is Christ, or there; believe it not’ (Mat 24:23). Now it is the last days. The apocalypse is coming. All those who preach the Lord Jesus has returned are fraudulent. No matter what they preach, do not believe them, or receive them, much less treat them in a friendly way.” At that moment, I thought: False Christs will appear in the last days to deceive people? If so, I had better listen to the elder. I’ll have meetings in the church and be well versed in the Bible, lest I be deceived. After that, I insisted on reading the Bible every day, believing that as long as I read more verses, I would be able to avoid being deceived and gain the approval of God then. What is the incarnation? What is the essence of the incarnation?

The “incarnation” is God’s appearance in the flesh; God works among created mankind in the image of the flesh. So for God to be incarnated, He must first be flesh, flesh with normal humanity; this is the most basic prerequisite. In fact, the implication of God’s incarnation is that God lives and works in the flesh, that God in His very essence becomes flesh, becomes a man.

From then on, I read the Bible and attended meetings fervently. At that time, preachers often told us, “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Why if they shall say to you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not” (Matthew 24:24-26). How Can One Recognize a False Christ?

Brothers and sisters in the Lord all know that we are now in the age of the last days, and all those who truly believe in the Lord are waiting for His return. There are many prophecies in the Bible concerning the return of the Lord Jesus. For example, “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him” (Matthew 25:6). “And I saw another angel fly in the middle of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people” (Revelation 14:6). These prophecies tell us that when the Lord comes back, there are to be some people who will spread the news to people all over the world.

The Bible says, “For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation” (Rom 10:10). We have already been saved through our faith in Jesus. Once we’re saved, we’re eternally saved. When the Lord arrives we will definitely be able to enter the kingdom of heaven.

Answer: “Once we’re saved, we’re forever saved and can enter the kingdom of heaven,” this is just man’s conception and imagining. This is not at all in accordance with God’s words. The Lord Jesus never said that people could enter the kingdom of heaven just by being saved through faith. The Lord Jesus said that only those who do the heavenly Father’s will can enter the kingdom of heaven. Only the Lord Jesus’ words have authority and are the truth.
