The Lord Jesus Christ Is God Himself

Many Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, but the Lord Jesus said: “he that has seen me has seen the Father.” “I am in the Father, and the Father in me.” Is the Lord Jesus really the Son of God or is He God Himself? Let’s fellowship about this important topic.

One morning, when my daughter and I were studying the Bible together, we saw these verses: “Philip said to him, Lord, show us the Father, and it suffices us. Continue reading “The Lord Jesus Christ Is God Himself”

It is good to believe in God, but I think all religions teach people to be good people. So no matter which religion people believe in, as long as they are sincere and commit no evil, surely they will be saved by God?

Relevant Words of God:

What is belief in religion? What is belief in God? Is there a difference? What are the common, prominent features of religion? How do people generally define belief in religion? Belief in religion consists of changes in behavior, a change in such behaviors as fighting with others, cursing others, malfeasance, exploiting others, taking advantage of others, and petty thefts and larceny. It refers, in the main, to changes in behavior. When someone believes in religion, they try to behave well, to be a good person; these are external behaviors. If we do not believe in God, and are merely virtuous, doing good and committing no evil, will we be saved by God?

Relevant Words of God:

The standard by which humans judge other humans is based on their behavior; those whose conduct is good are righteous, while those whose conduct is abominable are wicked. The standard by which God judges humans is based on whether their essence submits to Him or not; one who submits to God is a righteous person, while one who does not is an enemy and a wicked person, regardless of whether this person’s behavior is good or bad and regardless of whether their speech is correct or incorrect. People’s lives are over in a flash, in a few dozen years. Looking back, they recollect their lives: going to school, working, getting married, having children, awaiting death, their whole lives spent busily rushing around for the sake of family, money, status, fortune and prestige, utterly devoid of the true direction and objectives of human existence, and unable to find any value or meaning in being alive. So people live generation after generation in this painful and empty way. Why are people’s lives so painful and empty? And how can the pain and emptiness of human existence be resolved?

What is the source of the lifelong suffering from birth, death, illness, and old age that humans endure? What caused people to have these things? Humans did not have them when they were first created, did they? Where, then, did these things come from? They came into being after humans were tempted by Satan and their flesh became degenerate. The pain of human flesh, its afflictions, and its emptiness, as well as the extremely miserable affairs of the human world, only came once Satan had corrupted mankind. After humans were corrupted by Satan, it began to torment them. As a result, they became more and more degenerate. Continue reading “People’s lives are over in a flash, in a few dozen years. Bible Questions and Answers | What does it mean to believe in God truly?

Relevant Words of God:

Though many people believe in God, few understand what faith in God means, and what they must do to conform to God’s will. This is because, though people are familiar with the word “God” and phrases such as “the work of God,” they do not know God, and still less do they know His work. No wonder, then, that all those who do not know God are muddled in their belief of Him. People do not take belief in God seriously, and this is entirely because believing in God is too unfamiliar, too strange for them. In this way, they fall short of God’s demands. Relevant Words of God:

Since you believe in God, you must put faith in all of the words of God and in all of His work. Which is to say, since you believe in God, you must obey Him. If you are unable to do this, then it does not matter whether you believe in God or not. If you have believed in God for many years, and yet have never obeyed Him, and do not accept the entirety of His words, and instead ask that God submit to you and act according to your notions, then you are the most rebellious of all, you are a nonbeliever. How could such people be able to obey the work and words of God that do not conform to the notions of man?

In the Age of Grace, the Lord Jesus gave people the way of repentance, just as the Lord Jesus said, “Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17). “And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem” (Luke 24:47).

It’s that the Lord Jesus once said: “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also” (Jhn 14:2–3). The Lord Jesus was resurrected and returned to heaven to prepare a place for us, so that means the place He prepared should be in heaven. If the Lord has returned, it should be to rapture us into heaven, to first lift us up into the sky to meet with the Lord. What you’re bearing witness to now is that the Lord Jesus has returned, that He has become flesh and is on the earth speaking and working. So how is He going to lift us up to the kingdom of heaven? Is the kingdom of heaven on earth, or is it in heaven?

Answer: To understand whether the kingdom of heaven is actually in heaven or on the earth, first we must understand what the kingdom of heaven really is. Everyone knows that “heaven” usually refers to the celestial, to God. So naturally, the kingdom of heaven refers to God’s kingdom, and it is the kingdom where God is in power, it is Christ’s kingdom. So then is God’s kingdom on earth, or is it in heaven? First let’s look at what the Lord’s prayer says. “Our Father which are in heaven, Hallowed be your name.
