“Enjoy life while you can, for who knows what tomorrow might bring?” In society nowadays, many people believe that life is there to be enjoyed. They cannot help but indulge in smoking, drinking, gambling and going to karaoke bars and so on, but what is undeniable is that, though the flesh may feel enjoyment and satisfaction at the time, the spirit feels empty and pained. Could the meaning of life be just eating, drinking and making merry? How are we supposed to free ourselves from this empty and degenerate life and find a genuine life? I was so lost and befuddled before, but I have now found the answer. Continue reading “I Find the Way to Be Free of the Pain of Spiritual Emptiness”

What Is the Work of Managing Mankind

Relevant Words of God:

The work of managing mankind is divided into three stages, which means that the work of saving mankind is divided into three stages. These three stages do not include the work of creating the world, but are rather the three stages of the work of the Age of Law, the Age of Grace, and the Age of Kingdom. The work of creating the world was the work of producing the whole of mankind. It was not the work of saving mankind, and bears no relation to the work of saving mankind, for when the world was created mankind had not been corrupted by Satan, and so there was no need to carry out the work of mankind’s salvation. The work of saving mankind only began when mankind had been corrupted by Satan, and so the work of managing mankind also only began when mankind had been corrupted. God’s word of the day: “Knowing God Is the Path to Fearing God and Shunning Evil” (Excerpt 3)

Many people hold up God’s words to read day by day, even to the point of carefully committing to memory all the classic passages therein as their most prized possession, and moreover preach God’s words everywhere, supplying and aiding others by means of His words. They think that to do this is to bear witness to God, to bear witness to His words, that to do this is to follow God’s way; they think that to do this is to live by God’s words, that to do this is to bring His words into their actual lives, that doing this will enable them to receive God’s commendation, and to be saved and perfected. But, even as they preach the words of God, they never comply with God’s words in practice, or try to bring themselves in line with what is revealed in God’s words. God’s possessions and being, God’s essence, God’s disposition—all has been made known in His words to humankind. For humanity, these are all things that man must experience, realize, and access in order to access truth and life, realize God’s intentions, become transformed in his disposition, and become able to submit to God’s sovereignty and arrangements. Can We Welcome the Lord by Clinging to the Prophecy of Him Coming in a Cloud?

The Church of Almighty God | Eastern Lightning | spiritual devotion

Question 2: You bear witness that God has become flesh as the Son of man to do the work of judgment in the last days, and yet the majority of religious pastors and elders maintain that the Lord will return coming with clouds. They base this primarily on the Bible verses: “This same Jesus … shall so come in like manner as you have seen Him go into heaven” (Act 1:11). “Behold, He comes with clouds; and every eye shall see Him” (Rev 1:7). And furthermore, the religious pastors and elders also teach us that any Lord Jesus who does not come with clouds is false and must be rejected. So, we’re not sure whether or not this view is in line with the Bible; is this kind of understanding correct or not? The Lord Has Come Secretly to Do His Judgment Work in the Last Days: What It Has to Do With Our Entry Into the Heavenly Kingdom

bible study | image

Question 1: The Lord’s promise is that He will come again to take us into the kingdom of heaven, and yet you testify that the Lord has already been incarnated to do the work of judgment in the last days. The Bible clearly prophesies that the Lord will descend with power and great glory on clouds. This is quite different from what you’ve testified, that the Lord has already been incarnated and secretly descended among men.

Commentary on 1 Corinthians 15:52—Can We Truly “Be Changed in the Twinkling of an Eye” When the Lord Returns?

bible study | spiritual devotion

The Bible says, “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality” (1 Corinthians 15:52–53). Many people believe that although we still sin, God is almighty, and when the Lord comes again He will change us in the twinkling of an eye, changing the sinful into the sinless, and then rapturing us up into the kingdom of heaven. But is there any basis for this view in the Lord’s words? When the Lord comes again, will He really do as we imagine He will? How exactly does God perform His work to purify man in the last days? These questions are directly linked to the crucial issues of our fate and our final end. We will fellowship this matter below.
