A common saying goes, “Good will be rewarded with good, and evil with evil.” Then why doesn’t God destroy all the wicked?

The answer from God’s word:

“Today, regardless of their actions, and provided they do not obstruct God’s management and have nothing to do with the new work of God, such people will not be subjected to the corresponding retribution, for the day of wrath has yet to arrive. There is much that people believe God should already have dealt with, and they think that those evildoers should be subject to retribution as early as possible. But because the work of God’s management has still not come to an end, and the day of wrath has yet to arrive, the unrighteous still continue to perform their unrighteous deeds. … Now is not the time for man’s punishment, but the time for carrying out the work of conquest, unless there are those who impair God’s management, in which case they will be subjected to punishment based on the severity of their actions.”

My Experience: How to Keep Temper

By Han Xiao

When I was a child, I had a short fuse, angering more easily. Once, my father said a classmate in my class was into study, while I could not come up to her. I became angry right away, saying, “You can regard her as your daughter if you think she is excellent. …” Just because of this, I didn’t say even one word to my father during one week. My family knew clearly that I am hot-tempered, so they all somewhat indulged me. My parents often said helplessly, “The elder children in other families usually yield to their younger brothers and sisters, but it is quite the reverse in our family, which is indeed puzzling our brains! ”

Faced With Difficulties, You Need to Understand God’s Will

By Xichen

I have heard such a story: The course of eagles’ growth is cruel. In order for the eaglets to hover in the sky, the mother eagle will push them over the cliff when their feathers are full. While they are falling, eaglets exhaust all their strength to flutter to survive. Through struggling painfully, finally they can fly. However, for the sake of letting them soar in the high sky, the mother eagle will break their wings and push them over the cliff again. This time, they will suffer more pain than before. Yet no matter how painful they are, they still have to flutter their broken wings. Because only by doing this can they hover in the high sky; otherwise, they will never be able to fly in the blue sky. Continue reading “Faced With Difficulties, You Need to Understand God’s Will”

What Is Truly Accepting Truth?

By Xiaohe, Henan Province

In the past, every time I read the words revealed by God about how people do not accept truth, I didn’t believe those words applied to me. I enjoyed reading the word of God and communicating God’s word, and I was able to accept and acknowledge everything God has said as truth—regardless of how much it pricked my heart or didn’t conform with my notions. Moreover, regardless of how many imperfections my brothers and sisters would point out, I could acknowledge it and accept it. I didn’t seek to justify myself, so I thought that I was a person who surely accepted truth. In my opinion, only people who were especially arrogant and conceited, and who had notions about the word of God and wouldn’t acknowledge that God’s word is truth were the ones who wouldn’t accept truth. It wasn’t until one day when I was listening to a sermon that I understood what it meant to truly accept truth. Continue reading “What Is Truly Accepting Truth?”
